I’m delighted to have been invited to take part at Eclectic Studios for this years Open Up Sheffield. I will be exhibiting a range of sculptural and embroidered textile art plus demonstrating throughout the weekend.
If you are interested in seeing how my work is created this is the perfect opportunity to pop along, have a cup of tea and enjoy browsing in an informal setting.

Decorum was established in 2017 and comprises of 5 textile artists Priscilla Edwards, Val Jackson, Diana Morrison, Yvonne Noworyta and Christine Stanford, all graduating from the BA Embroidery and MA Textiles at Manchester Metropolitan University.
For this exhibition they are joined by 4 more mixed media artists, Elizabeth Couzins Scott, James Fox, Sally Payne and Rosie Wates.
All these artists have come together to explore personal journeys that trace intimate memories and individual narratives.

I’m so delighted to be exhibiting at this years Knits & Stitches so do join me for a full day of Knitting and Stitching heaven in the fabulous Coronation Hall. There will be quality stall holders from across the region bringing advice and supplies to create your next project. There will also be sales of beautifully hand crafted items. There will be displays of lovingly created items from local groups to whet your crafting appetite. We are delighted to have our first group exhibition, as the Northern Collective, in the Circle Gallery at the prestigious Theatre by the Lake in Keswick, a cultural gem situated by the dramatic lakeside of Derwentwater.
The Northern Collective is made up of 16 artists from Cumbria and beyond regularly meeting to observe, be inspired by and make drawings in a variety of venues, ranging from Lake District landscapes to cultural sites such as Abbot Hall Gallery and Sprint Mill, Burneside and its unique collection of local memorabilia. The artists will showcase a rich diversity of themes and artistic processes including painting, printmaking, textiles, collage and assemblage. As well as expansive landscape forms, themes explored in the Northern Collective include plant structures, texture and surface markings, and flora and fauna found in the natural environment.
