Explore the possibilities of making wire spoons from fabric, wire and wax with award wining artist Priscilla Edwards.
During the workshop you will create lots of different shapes from lightweight wire that can easily be manipulated with your finger tips. You will experiment with using fabric and wax to embellish your spoons and decorate them using trimmings, haberdashery, buttons and hand-stitch.
Priscilla will encourage you to explore your own ideas so please feel free to bring any of your own materials you might like to work with.

Create your very own fairy-tail creature using found materials and ephemera with celebrated artist Priscilla Edwards. During the workshop you will explore the possibilities of making objects that are assembled using fabrics, wire and found oddments anything that you wish to work with that has meaning or holds memories.
All equipment will be provided but you should bring with you a small collection of your own precious fabrics, ephemera, papers, broken china or toys.

I’m so delighted to be exhibiting at this years Knits & Stitches so do join me for a full day of Knitting and Stitching heaven in the fabulous Coronation Hall. There will be quality stall holders from across the region bringing advice and supplies to create your next project. There will also be sales of beautifully hand crafted items. There will be displays of lovingly created items from local groups to whet your crafting appetite.
