Mini Teapots & Cups in Wire Workshop

During this workshop Priscilla will share her techniques and process showing you the vast possibilities of working with wire to create your own sculptures. You will learn how to manipulate lightweight wire using your fingers / pliers and then embellish your pieces with fabric, wax, and stitch. No experience necessary, all materials provided – all you need to bring is your enthusiasm!

Sculptural Spoons

Explore the possibilities of making wire teaspoons from fabric, wire and paper. During the workshop you will create lots of different shapes from light weight wire that can easily be manipulated with your fingers tips. They can be decorated however you wish using trimmings, buttons and hand-stitch.

All abilities welcome and materials provided just bring enthusiasm!

Mixed Media Sculpture Course

Sessions Start 29th January – 26th Feb 2019 (excluding 19th February) 

1-3pm

During this course Priscilla will share with you the creative techniques developed through her own experimentations and making. With more than 20 years experience in textile art Priscilla is the perfect person to show you all the skills necessary to make your very own 3D sculptures. Inspired by whatever theme/s you wish you will explore wire, wax, and silk to create structures that can be embellish with paper, buttons, beads and found ephemera. Priscilla will support you through the processes and techniques encouraging you to develop personal work that relates to you.

Materials will be provided all you need bring is enthusiasm and some found objects or materials from your own collecting.
